This Years Camp
Youth Expressions Capoeira summer camp is for children ages 5-12 yrs. In this special two week camp children will be exposed to the traditions of Brazil with special emphasis on the art of capoeira. Workshops will be given in capoeira technique, acrobatics, maculele, percussion, berimbau, portuguese song/language. Along with classes in capoeira and other brazilian arts children will participate in daily fieldtrips and arts and crafts activities. Space is limited and early enrollment is encouraged. Children who have never tried Capoeira are encouraged to enroll.
